KATRA, Jan 16: The School of Computer Science & Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra in collaboration with EICT, MHRD, Govt. of India and IIT Roorkee organized FDP on Deep Learning and Machine Learning Applications using Python from. More than 60 participants from various institutions like Ujjain Engineering College, CSIR-Chandigarh, Delhi Technological University, CSIR-IIM Jammu, NIT Jaipur, along with in house faculty members and research scholars participated in the FDP. Dr. Badri Subudhi (IIT Jammu), Dr. Arvind selwal (Central Univ. Jammu), Dr.Baijnath Kaushik and Ankit Thomas were the resource persons. In this FDP, the focus was on various Machine Learning and Deep Learning Algorithm applications. Also classification algorithms such as Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Linear and Logistics regression, KNN, Recurrent Neural Network, Long Short Memory Network, Convolution Neural Network and their applications were discussed and demonstrated using Python. The Vice Chancellor, SMVDU congratulated Dr. Baijnath Kaushik, Associate Professor, SoCSE (Local Coordinator) and Dr. Sanjeev Manhas (ECE Dept., IIT Roorkee). |
