What Is There In A Name?
Abhishek Raja1/18/2020 10:42:42 PM
What is there in a name has not been said without valid and sound basis long ago and it is true for all times to come. A rose smells the same if called by any other name and this is true for all things .The ground reality and truth does not change with the change in name and we change the nomenclature according to our convenience and changing names of the things and cities does not change the basic and ground reality and thus there is no use of the changing spree resorted by the powers but it is done sometimes to correct the historical wrongs and in such situations changing the names of the cities and roads etc has some meaning and is understandable but in all other cases changing the nomenclature has no meaning and is not needed and such changes are superfluous .Recently our neighbor Pakistan changed the name of the Pakistan occupied Kashmir as Pakistan administered Jammu and Kashmir ostensibly to throw dust in the eyes of the international community and India but such change of name will have no impact on the ground reality about the Pakistan occupied Kashmir and for India it remains a disputed territory and a part of the undivided Jammu and Kashmir and therefore the change of the name of POK by the Imran government has no meaning at all. Such change of the nomenclature of POK does not alter the stand of the Indian government and India's consistent stand is same and that is POK is the part of India and has to be retrieved in the due course of time. Government of India is bound by the important parliament resolution of 1994 and the resolution is clear that POK is the part and parcel of India and it is under the illegal occupation of Pakistan and the life of the inhabitants there is worse than hell and they too want to be part of India to reap the fruits of India's development. Government is armed with the mighty parliament resolution on POK and now it is the duty of the central government to see how to implement the parliament resolution which is the corner stone of our policy on POK. Now the only need is to work for the implementation of the parliament resolution and the central government should work in this direction so that we are able to retrieve the disputed territory and make it the actual part of the country. Pakistan tries to throw dust in the eyes of the international community by changing the nomenclature of POK which that country called as the so called Azad Kashmir for the last over seventy years and has now changed as the Pakistan administered Jammu and Kashmir and by doing this Pakistan tries to change the ground reality about the POK but cannot do so. Indian stand is clear, consistent and loud that POK is the part of India and now what is needed is that Indian government should take necessary steps to annex the POK to Indian territory and this is the wish and will of 130 Crore people of India .Congress governments have failed in this endeavor as they lacked the necessary will power and determination to annex POK but now there is a strong government and a strong prime minister who has both the will power and determination as well as the necessary dash to take bold decisions in the national interest unmindful of its impact on the vote bank. Therefore the time is opportune to take a bold decision to implement the parliament resolution of 1994 and this will be a great watershed in the history of the Indian and the people of the country are looking for such a bold and strong decision and hope that in near future POK will be a part of India. Today the morale of Indian army is very high and they should be given a chance to annex the POK and finish the unfinished agenda of partition. So the central government should take necessary steps for the implementation of the parliamentary resolution of 1994 and annex POK and make it apart of India.
