Jammu, Feb 10: Students of Delhi Public School Jammu brought laurels to the school and their parents by winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in an Essay Writing Competition organized by Tata Building India held on 30th January, 2020 in the school premises. The topic of the essay was ‘Building a Great India’. More than 300 students of DPS Jammu participated in the competition, with six students winning the competition with flying clours. The winners of Senior Category were Lavanya Sharma (IX-A)-Gold medal, Ayush Karn (IX-A)-Silver medal and Arnav Sharma (IX-A)-Bronze medal, in Junior Category Pranni Gupta (VIII-A)-Gold medal, Aarya Giri (VII-D)-Silver medal and Purvi Bhalwal (VI-F)-Bronze medal. All the winners were awarded with the medals & certificates of Merit by the Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra. A Special Certificate of Participation was also awarded to the school. Speaking on the occasion, Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners and appreciated their efforts. She urged the student to never stop learning and help build a Great India simultaneously. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also lauded the efforts of the students. |
