JASC organizes SP Sahni memorial debate competition

Jammu, Feb 10: The Jammu Adventure Sports Club organized Annual SP Sahni Memorial Debate Competition in collaboration with Bharti Foundation at Govt. Middle School Satwari on the topic 'Internet a Blessing or a Curse'. In total 17 number of schools with 34 students participated. Anjali Gupta officiating ZEO Satwari was the Chief Guest with Neelam Gandotra Principal HSS Satwari as guest of honor. First prize of Rs.3000/- second prize of Rs. 2000/-and third Prize of Rs.1000/-was bagged by Lakhan , Manisha of GMS upper Gadigarh and Ankita of GMS Satwari respectively sponsored by JASC members . The rolling trophy was bagged by Govt. Middle School Satwari. The judges were Veena Gupta Head Master Jammu Cant, Madhu Kitroo, Arjun Veer Rana. The welcome address was given by Mala Broca. In her vote of thanks Bhavana Sethi Secretary of the club thanked Bharti Foundation for the support and Arjun Veer Rana Convener of the debate. Kunil Bhalla Chairman appreciated the amazing way such young children of Govt.Schools articulated their views. The club members present were Manmohan, Dinesh, Kuldeep Wahi. Neelam Bhalla, Jiti , Sarita Wahi. Sudhir and Prabha Kapoor. TP Broca and Sandiip A Sethi.
