MAM College organizes one day workshop

Jammu, Feb 11: A workshop on python programming was organized at Govt. M.A.M P.G. College in Department of Computer Science for BCA 6TH and 4th Semester students. Dr. Preeti Dubey, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, GCW Parade College, Jammu was the Resource person for the workshop.
The programme started with the welcome address by Prof. Shallu Gupta, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and highlighted the imperative need for such meaningful activities. She exhorted the students to participate actively in such meaningful workshops which would help them in carving their future in today’s competitive world. Dr. Preeti Dubey, Resource Person delivered an impressive and interactive practical hands-on on python programming language. She gave the students complete core knowledge of the basic building blocks and the skills imperative to succeed and excel in the field. The students and the faculty members were keen to participate and learn about the running scenario of the language. The principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Rakwal, in the valedictory session appreciated and congratulated the department for organizing this workshop. He encouraged the teachers more such workshops for exposure of the students for their bright future. The formal Vote of thanks was presented by Dr.Archana Sharma Assistant Professor of BCA Department . The others faculty members present on the occasion include Mrs.chandni Mahajan, Rakesh Sharma, Shivani Padha, Mrs. Radhika Basotra and Sweety Pandita.
