Rajouri, Feb 13: District Administration Rajouri has virtually maintained silence over encroachment of road, which has been covered by a person for his private school in village Laiter, Tehsil Pouni of district Rajouri.
The school is situated on roadside which is 2 kms from small city Bhambla. The school owner is said to be very influential person of the area, who has encroached roadside land by constructing boundary wall of school.
As per rules, there is 40 feet width of a road from its center but in this case 10 feet width has been left by the encroacher. Kuldeep Raj resident of Bhambla said that recently administration had demolished boundary wall of his house but it is silent over this school owner, who is very powerful. Admin takes action against only poor, he alleged. He appealed to LG, Div Com Sanjeev Verma to direct concerned administration to take action against the encroachment.
