Ashwani Sharma hails PM Modi for J&K budget

Bishnah, Mar 18: Jammu and Kashmir is going to witness a new era of development after Narendra Modi led government has presented over Rs one lakh crore budget to newly created union territory.
This was said by former MLA and senior BJP leader, Ashwani Sharma during a press conference here today .Speaking on the occasion, Ashwani Sharma thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman for huge budget, which J&K never in the history. This union territory is being given what the Modi government had promised after abrogation of Article 370 on August 5, 2019. This budget is surely going to take the union territory out of the economic mess, he said.
PM Modi had a commitment with people of J&K and today he delivered what he promised, he added. The senior BJP leader said that this budget is a balanced one which is aimed at addressing the concerns of each and every issue of J&K. On unemployment front, BJP government at the centre has promised to absorbed over 60000 youth in government jobs in upcoming days, which will help the educated unemployed youth, he said.
Agriculture and tourism sectors have remained the backbone of economy of J&K and Modi government is well aware of this. This is the reason as major focus of this budget has been on agriculture and allied sectors and tourism. This is evident through this fact that over Rs 300 crore has been kept for tourism sector and especially on religious tourism. Three new religious-tourism circuits have been announced including the long pending Shiv Khori-Uttar Bani-Purmandal-Mata Sukhrala Devi, which the demand of people of Jammu region, Sharma said.
The other two circuits are Shankaracharya-Mata Khir Bhawani-Martand (Mattan); and Makhdoom Sahib-Khanqah-e-Moula-Watlab-Babareshi-Pakharpora-Aishmuqam.
