| Police arrest bootlegger, recover liquor | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 20: Kanachak Police arrested a bootlegger and recovered liquor from his possession. As per reports, police party of P/S Kana chak laid a special Naka/patrolling at Kangrail and during the naka checking one person namely Sham Lal son of Paala Ram resident of Kangrail was coming from High way road to link road Kangrail by feet after seeing the police party he tried to escape from them after his suspicious movement police party chased and apprehended him, during checking recovered 11 bottles of Rum XXX containing 750 ml each, 6 bottle of Naina Premium Whiskey contain 750 ml each and 20 quarter of desi whiskey DMT containing 180 ml each from his possession, which he kept for illegally selling in the area. In this regard a case FIR NO 50/2020 U/S 48-a Excise Act was registered in this Police Station. The Police Party headed by SHO P/S Kana chak Insp Ravi Singh Parihar under the supervision of SDPO Domama Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Suram Singh. |
