Chairman, VC appeal people to observe ‘Janta Curfew’ on Mar 22

Rajouri, Mar 21: Municipal Committee Rajouri has launched awareness and cleanliness drive on war footing across Rajouri town in the wake of COVID-19, which has turned into a pandemic in entire world.
In this connection, various steps are being taken by the Municipal Committee Rajouri to sanitize the entire town so that people could be protected from this deadly virus, which has been consuming precious human lives. Fogging drive has been started in the streets as well as in the government offices, hospitals to get rid of this virus.
While talking to Early times Chairman MC Rajouri Arif Jatt said that all necessary measures are being adopted by MC to sanitize the town. “We have also launched number of awareness drives to spread the information about Coronavirus among the people and the ways to protect themselves from it because only right information can protect us from this pandemic,” Arif Jatt said.
Meanwhile, Vice Chairman MC Rajouri Bharat Bhushan Vaid appealed to the people in general to cooperate with the administration to defeat this virus which has become threat to this humanity. “I appeal to people to observe “Janta Curfew” call given by Prime Minister Narender Modi in this difficult time and remain in our houses from 7 am to 9 pm. We should take pledge to fight this virus by taking sensible steps. I also request people not to spread any rumours about it,” he said further adding that people who have symptoms should come forward to get them tested in the nearby hospital so that other people particularly in their family may not get affected with it.
