Police register 6 FIRs against lockdown violators | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SAMBA, Mar 23: In view of complete lockdown in the UT of J&K till March 31and issuance of Essential Services and Commodities notification followed by the imposition of restrictions by District Magistrate Samba under Section 144 CrPC, District Police Samba under the territorial jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba and Bari Brahmana has registered 6 seperate FIRs against owners of various factories and shopkeepers. As many as 3 FIRs were registered at Police Station (PS) Samba while the rest were registered at PS Bari Brahmana. The FIRs which got registered at PS Samba include FIR No 74/2020 U/S 188 IPC against the owner of 2 factories Ulstran and Osaka Alloys and Steel Pvt Limited situated in Phase-II SIDCO Samba while another FIR No 77/2020 U/S 188 IPC was registered against the owner of General Package situated in Phase-I SIDCO Samba. An FIR No 78/2020 U/S 188 IPC was also registered at PS Samba against the owner of shops Attri Traders at Maheshwar Samba, Krishan Traders situated at Diani, Today Pickle situated near Samba Hospital and Bittu Electric Works near Sanjha Chullha Samba. Similarly, acting on reliable information regarding violation of prohibitory orders, 3 FIRs were registered at PS Bari Brahmana against the owner of different factories situated at SIDCO Bari Barhmana An FIR No 56/2020 U/s 188 IPC was registered against M/s Vardaman Enterusion Pvt Ltd while FIR No 57/2020 U/s 188 IPC was registered against M/s Pencil Factory Domes Industries Pvt Ltd. The third FIR No 58/2020 U/s 188 IPC registered at PS Bari Brahmana was against M/s Uflex Unit-I Pvt Ltd. |
