Army hit roads in Kishtwar to make people aware about COVID-19

Jammu, Mar 30: As nation wide lockdown enter 5th day today, the army in Kishtwar District to hit the road and make the people aware about the impact of COVID 19 commonly known as Coronavirus.
As per the details available with Early Times, the troops of 26 RR under the control of 9 Sector RR Kishtwar today visited many areas of Kishtwar town and its peripheral areas making pre-recorded announcements on vehicles fitted with loudspeakers inform about this deadly virus beside also make the people aware about this disease by pasting pamphlets in various areas.
All the troopers who are part of the awareness campaign were in fully protected dresses taking all precautionary measures to ensure that they will return back to camps without contracting any infection if any from outside.
The army urged the people to stay at home and brief them about the history of Coronavirus and how it spread from one place to another and from one person to another person and advise the people to follow the guidelines issued by the government which include to was the hands regularly, use sentizers, masks and to maintain social distances.
Speaking to Early Times, the locals hail the efforts of army in educating the people about the deadly Corona Virus disease.
