Fire Brigade joins hands with JMC in fight against covid-19

Jammu, Mar 31: Keeping in view the prevailing situation arising due to outbreak of Covid-19, the Fire Brigade, Jammu joint hands with Jammu Municipal Corporation to fight against novel Corona Virus (Covid-19) by putting its men machinery into service and started spraying in different areas of the city especially where there are suspected cases of Corona Virus viz. Gujjar Nagar, Prem Nagar, Sunjwan, Bhatindi, Chowdhi, Lakkar Mandi, Janipur, Bhawani Nagar, Sarwal, B.C. road and Rehari area etc. Tankers are spraying roads, buildings and Quarantine centres as well. The Commissioner, JMC, Avny Lavasa (IAS) also issued directions to the concerned officer and sanitation field staff for taking every possible measure for spraying, fumigation and sanitation on war footing basis to avoid spreading of Covid-19. She further appealed to the general public to come forward and join hands with Jammu Municipal corporation in maintaining proper sanitation and also appealed to them not to come out of their homes so that spreading of corona virus is stopped, as without the help of citizens it is hard to achieve the desired results and to make Jammu free from Covid-19.
