Total and Complete Lockdown
4/1/2020 8:31:51 PM
Omkar Dattatray

Total and complete lockdown is the only and the best option to fight back the coronavirus which has invaded the whole world. The dangerous and deadly virus had devoured thousands of precious lives all over the world. It has killed thousands of lives in China, Iran, Italy, America and other countries including the developed ones .Even the developed countries could not control the virus and thus combating it is a very tough and challenging job. But we should not be disheartened rather use the tool of sitting at the homes and enforcing the complete lockdown in the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called and appealed for the complete lock down in the whole country to control the virus which is threatening the whole humanity. All of us should co-operate the administration in enforcing the lockdown for our own benefit. Thus for the sake of our own security and safe health we should make lockdown 100 percent successful. People should take the initiative themselves and observe total lock down so that the chain of the virus is broken .We should understand that those countries who failed in enforcing the lockdown also failed in containing the deadly virus and the results are before us in the form of thousands of deaths and we should learn a lesson from these countries and observe complete lockdown. It is thus very important to enforce the total lockdown in the whole country to fight the coronavirus and make our lives safe and healthy. It is in our own interest to voluntarily observe the shutdown so that the virus does not spread any more. Therefore we should stay indoors and not venture outside except when it is very essential and when we cannot do without going outside. The total lockdown is the only option to fight back the virus and save our lives. Thus has the government embarked on the programme of the complete lockdown in the country? No doubt it has a big economic cost but we have to resort to complete lockdown to save our lives which are at stake and so we have no option but to observe the complete lock down. People should maintain social distancing and stay at homes and not visit those places which ate frequented by many people. Thus it is more important to stay at home and contribute to the total lockdown. We have to bear with the tremendous economic loss but we cannot risk our precious lives and thus we have to stay indoors to save ourselves, our family and largely the country. We should not take the challenge lightly but take it with all seriousness and help the government in its efforts of enforcing the total lockdown. There is no doubt that remaining indoors is a very painful exercise as man is a social animal and likes to live in the companion of others and thus wants to live in the society. But we have to keep ourselves indoors in our houses and not venture outside for our own interests and for our own good complete lockdown is a gigantic task and it can be successful only with the active cooperation of all the people. We should make sincere efforts to observe the lockdown by keeping ourselves indoors. The factories and companies as well as the government can use the initiative of work from home to tide over the economic loss. Thus, while we should stay at our homes but we can contribute to the economy by working from homes. This work from home is the novel idea and we should work it out for the interest of the nation. Thus while we would remain in our homes we should contribute to the production from our homes where ever it is possible. Further it should be noted that the social distancing does not mean abdicating the social responsibility but it implies to keep our selves in our homes and thus show our social responsibility. Being the active members of the society we should work for the society and here it is the social distancing and keeping ourselves in our homes which is the touchstone of our social responsibility. There is no vaccine and medicine to combat the virus in question and that it spreads through touch and so complete lockdown is the only option to fight the virus and all of us should contribute our bit infighting the coronavirus by observing lockdown by confining ourselves indoors for the time being.
