| SCCU donates in Corona Relief Fund | | |
Udhampur, Apr 6: Responding to the appeal of PM of India and LG of the union territory, the Senior Citizens Club Udhampur contributed towards the relief fund. The President and General Secretary on behalf of the Club handed over a cheque of rupees fifty one thousand as its first installment towards District Development Commissioner Udhampur Relief Fund to DM Udhampur. Talking to media President of the Club flanked by Raj Guru Gen. Secretary said that the amount has been contributed voluntarily by the members of the Club. In addition the Club has also been providing monetary relief to those who are not in a position to purchase emergency medicines. The prevailing scenario in view of the Corona impasse and lockdown was also discussed with the DM and the information gathered by the Club from its member from across the District on daily basis was also shared with the DM. The Club assured the District Administration that Club is rendering its social responsibility and will continue to deliver in the best possible way. The Club appealed all the persons capable to donate towards District Development Commissioner Relief Fund as this amount is forth with utilized by the administration for the purpose the donations for which it is donated, |
