JAMMU, Apr 6: Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu has set an example for all politicians by announcing to donate 30 % of his salary for the next 1 year towards the fight against the spread of COVID-19.
After Lt Governor’s big initiative in his fight against COVID-19 has put self-styled honest BJP in difficult situation because such BJP leaders have announced to donate only one month of their pensions.
BJP leaders are claiming that they are very honest and they have decided themselves for the society but at this crucial time when the nation is fighting dreaded coronavirus, society is expecting something very big from these “honest and dedicated” leaders but these leaders have announced one month pension only.
Now the biggest question before these BJP leaders is that if they have announced to dedicate themselves to the society why they are hesitating to announce to donate full pension for one year in the fight against COVID-19?
Credible sources said majority of the former legislators and ex-ministers have financial huge but they have announced only to donate one month pension.
“Some former BJP ministers, who have earned whose wealth through corrupt practices, are approaching some people to donate for COVID-19 funds”, sources said and revealed that instead of donating from their own pockets, some BJP leaders mounting pressure on businessmen to donate money for Corona fund. |
