Early Times Report

Jammu, May 18: As Congress in J&K has virtually become carbon copy of Hurriyat Conference, “arrogant” BJP is of the view that people of Jammu have no option but to vote for the party in assembly elections, whenever held in the Union Territory (UT) of J-K.
During an interview with a media channel, ex-MLA of BJP from Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta arrogantly said that people have no option but to vote for his party whenever assembly elections held in J-K.
Although later he tried to clarify, his language is a clear indication that all BJP leaders have become so arrogant that people of Jammu are like their slaves and they have no option but to vote for them whether they work for the welfare of people or not.
Rajesh Gupta is not an isolate case, all Jammu based BJP leaders are of the opinion that people have no option but to vote for them so there is no need for them to work for the welfare of the masses. From top to lower, the entire BJP leadership has developed an impression that people of Jammu can be easily be-fooled at the time elections so there is no need to work for them.
It is all due to such attitude that all BJP leaders have abandoned people of Jammu region at this crucial time and top leadership of the party has confined its activities only within premises of its headquarters at Trikuta Nagar. Instead of solving problems of the people during Covid crisis, all BJP leaders are busy in sycophancy of senior leaders so that at the time of assembly elections they will get party mandates.
These days culture competitive sycophancy has gripped J&K BJP as most of the party leaders are working as sycophants of a couple of leaders who themselves lack credibility deficit.
