Micro & Small Scale Sector appeals Lt Governor for Financial Package: FOIJ

JAMMU, May 21: A Meeting of the Federation of Industries Jammu (FOIJ) was held today under the Chairmanship of Lalit Mahajan, Chairman FOIJ in the presence of Rattan Dogra, Jitender Aul, Deepak Dhawan, Co-Chairmen, Lavinder Singh Puri, Secretary General, Viraaj Malhotra, Convener and other Executive Committee Members of the Federation to discuss the Rs 20 Lakh Crores Stimulus Package announced by Union Finance Minster to provide the relief to MSME Sector of the country suffering due to COVID-19 situation since 25th March 2020.
While appreciating the announcement made by the Finance Minister for providing Rs.3 Lakh Crore Financial Package for MSME sector, the Members present in the meeting highlighted that package of Rs. 3 Lakh Crores earmarked as a relief as a Guarantee Cover under the present Credit Guarantee Scheme (CGTMSE) of Govt. of India only for the Loans to be disbursed to the MSME Sector by Public Sector and Private Sector Banks with the additional amount of the Interest over and above the current Rate of Interest with the repayment schedule after 12 months or so and we termed it as an additional liability on the Unit Holders of MSE,s Sector already suffering very badly due to COVID-19 situation arises out after 25th March 2020 due to complete Lockdown imposed by the Administration.
