JAMMU, May 21: Former legislator Ashok Sharma described the financial package as conglomerate of loans and credits, additionalities in existing budgetary provisions, concessions to the corporates and creation of non-performing assets . Sharma said there is no direct cash benefit to needy farmers, labourers, especially the migrant labour and the lower middle class. The package is also against the spirit of federal structure as hardly any funds have been allotted to the states who are directly combating the prevailing pandemic, he added. |
