Boycott Chinese goods
5/29/2020 11:30:27 PM
A prominent personality from Ladakh, Sonam Wangchuk, has put a video on social media asking people of India to give befitting reply to China through the power of their wallet.
Wangchuk has urged people across the country to boycott Chinese goods to make Beijing aware about the power of Indians. Our country is one of the biggest markets of Chinese goods. For the past many years, China has been earning huge revenue from Indian markets by selling cheap and substandard items. Chinese goods are use and throw commodities as they don’t last long. This every Indian has experienced.
China during the past few weeks has brought its troops close to the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh and it appears that Beijing want to occupy some vital positions in the cold desert. The Indian Army is not allowing Peoples Liberation of Army to move forward and the troops are at an eyeball to eyeball confrontation with each other.
Everyone is aware of the fact that China’s economy during the past few years has grown due to it flooding the world markets with cheap goods. Now the country’s leadership is using the same money to threaten India and other countries.
The message sent by Wangchuk is clear that besides fighting China with bullets, it needs to be taught a lesson by hitting its economy. People should understand that by buying Chinese products they are strengthening the hands of an adversary and this needs to stop forthwith. Its not difficult to live without Chinese products and internet applications. Beginning has to be made and this is a right time to act and show it to the enemy that entire population of India stands behind its army.
The China has been cornered after the outbreak of COVID-19 as the entire world is blaming it for the spread of the deadly virus. China has understood that there could be a possible backlash and in order to divert the attention of the world from the Coronavirus spread, which emerged from Wuhan, it has started military exercises in seas and on the border along with India. Chinese leadership seems to have realized that resentment against the present regime is brewing as people of China seem to be fed up of their rulers. To divert the attention from internal issues Chinese government has raised the bogey about China not being safe and it has turned into an aggressor. But people of India can pinch the Chinese hard by boycotting their goods.
