Barbaric Murders
7/10/2020 12:14:40 AM

Killing of a young BJP leader Wasim Bari, his father and brother in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district has shocked everyone. Cold blooded murder of three family members just for the sake of their political ideology is a barbaric act. It needs to be condemned in strongest possible way.
The Inspector General of Police Kashmir Range has admitted that these killings were a security lapse as the eight security guards who were deployed for the security of the victims failed to protect them from two terrorists, who carried out the attack. All the personal security officers of the slain BJP leader were dismissed from the service and arrested.
Terrorists killing innocents has once again proved that terror has no religion and masters of terrorists sitting in Pakistan have assigned them only one job i.e. to kill people and create uncertainty. Nationalist people in Kashmir have been at the receiving end. These Pakistan sponsored terrorists are nothing more than the henchmen of big terrorists sitting across the Line of Control.
Last month a Kashmiri Pandit Sarpanch, Ajay Bharati, of Congress was killed by the terrorists in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district and after that attack in Bandipora is a second major attack. Terrorists turning their guns towards the unarmed political activists, irrespective of their party affiliations, have created fear psychosis among the workers of the mainstream political parties in the Valley. They have become vulnerable as terrorists have turned them into soft targets. The so-called Hurriyat leaders who used to leave no opportunity to condemn human rights violations have never uttered a single word to condemn the killings carried out by the Pak sponsored terrorists. They have no courage or guts to tell these gun totting killers that they are killing their own brothers at the behest of Pakistan.
In nineties, Pak sponsored terrorists threatened Kashmiri Pandits and forced them to leave the Valley. Now, again they are choosing the nationalist people and are eliminating them so that they also leave the Valley to save their dignity, honour and lives.
The slain BJP leader was a bold nationalist voice in Kashmir and used to hold tricolor close to his heart. His bold acts of nationalism had rattled the terrorists and they hit back by eliminating him and his other family members.
People of Kashmir should wake up before it becomes too late. They have to understand that Pakistan and the terrorists sponsored by it are not their well wishers. Our rogue neighbor has turned entire Kashmir into a battlefield and it’s trying to avenge the defeats which it faced in different wars with India.
