| BJP high command pulls up J&K leaders for violating PM’s directives on COVID-19 | | Takes strong note of them not wearing masks to remain visible for cameras | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 15: After party’s J&K unit chief Ravinder Raina tested positive, BJP high-command has taken very serious note of shameless violation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s advice on social distancing.
Credible sources in the BJP said that it was all due to directions from the high command that local leaders have closed party office at Trikuta Nagar where activities were going on till this afternoon.
Since March 22, when the Prime Minister had announced Janata Curfew to educate the people about social distancing and launching a campaign against deadly coronavirus, J&K BJP leaders were shamelessly indulged into violating Prime Minister’s order.
While the common masses were religiously observing directions of the Prime Minister to fight Coronavirus, BJP leaders of J&K taking advantage of every opportunity to get ‘cheap’ publicity. Credible sources said central leadership has taken note of the recent pictures of some BJP leaders who were mingling with people without wearing masks. The publicity J&K BJP leaders rarely wear masks because they fear that their face will not come on the camera during the function. Credible sources said that this morning some central leaders directed the J & K unit to close the party office at Jammu and cancelled all further programmes because some people have posted pictures of BJP leaders attending programmes without wearing masks. Meanwhile despite their president tested positive, BJP leaders continued to violate SoPs of lockdown. |
