Early Times Report

POONCH, July 28: As a part of periodic sampling for COVID19 testing being done in the district Poonch, a team of the medical staff on Tuesday, collected the samples of all the employees of the District Development Commissioner office, including Deputy Commissioner for the testing of COVID19.
The Deputy Commissioner said that district administration Poonch has taken a combination of containment and mitigation measures to slow the spread of the COVID19 pandemic in the district by carrying out contact tracing, limiting travel by way of establishing special check posts and quarantining suspects.
He added that as a part of the efforts to prevent the spread of the deadly Corona Virus in the district, aggressive and periodic sampling for testing of COVID19 is being done to ensure the safety of the general public.
He appealed to the frontline workers of all the departments, shopkeepers and the general public to get themselves tested for COVID19 so that infection can be traced out as early as possible for the larger public interest.
The Deputy Commissioner urged upon the general public to cooperate with the district administration in its fight against the COVID19 by following all the SOPs.
