Shahid Kazmi using close confidantes to heckle fourth estate
7/31/2020 11:56:42 PM

EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, July 31: Finding himself in soup over the illegal film shooting by managing artists from Jammu and defying standing operating procedures, the local filmmaker Shahid Kazmi has stooped low by releasing threat calls to journalists through different means.
However in a new twist of events, the report of quarantine of three people who accompanied Kazmi and his convoy to Surankote has been procured which amply proves the illegal activities being conducted by the film maker. The medical administration at Surankote has provided the list of the persons quarantined on July 22.
One of the persons, who cleared the quarantine procedure later joined the Kazmi team at Surankote and clicked pictures with other team members which were uploaded on social media site, ‘facebook’ by one of the female members, but later was removed to avoid identification.
The Early Times is also in possession of those photographs which are standing evidence of Kazmi and team having flouted the norms under the prevalent COVID-19 pandemic.
Besides, while administrative officials at Surankote had assured to take legal action against the absconders who skipped the nakka and escaped into Surankot for filming , sources claim that the entire unit of the film allegedly fled from the spot to reach back Jammu same night, again dodging the sampling and COVID-19 test at Jammu.
It is in place to mention that last year also, this local filmmaker was charged for casting couching and swindling money from the artist luring them roles in the films. Also a complaint file CPO/CLT/2019/648/17483 dated 20.7.2019 against Shahid Kazmi stands registered with SDPO Jammu East, but action is still awaited in this regard.
Already carrying a notorious reputation, now Kazmi is using his infamous tactics to heckle down the media by using his close confidantes in threatening the journalists.
