A group of locals of Devak Panchayat including Ashok Kumar Sharma and Om Prakash told Early Times that although the entire payment for the construction of bore well has been withdrawn, but the work on bore well is yet to be completed. They said that although only eight lakhs have been spent on the same the whole amount has been withdrawn. “The concerned department has claimed that the bore well has been completed and commissioned in 2018-19 but the truth of matter is work on bore well has not been finished as yet. The entire payment of Rs. 25 lakhs has been withdrawn but the people continue to yearn for the bore well,” said the locals.
