REASI, Sept 13: The Commerce Department of Government General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College, Reasi (UT J&K) organized an online national level essay writing competition on the theme "Teaching in COVID-19 Pandemic: Opportunities and Challenges" on the occasion of Teachers' Day.
The students from different institutions across the country participated in the competition and have sent their essays on the aforesaid theme via e-mail. The essays of the students were judged by Dr. Chander Mohan, Senior Assistant Professor of English (GDC, Katra), Dr. Saleem Ahmed, Assistant Professor of Udru and Sunil Mangotra, Assistant Professor of Hindi. First position was bagged by Bhawna Dogra of GCW, Parade, Jammu while Sonia Lasotra of GZSM Degree College, Reasi bagged the second position. Third position was shared by Shilpa Katna of Swami Vivekanand Government College, Ghumarwin, HP and Tuiab Raza Jeelani of of GZSM Degree College, Reasi. Fourth position was shared by Rupali Angral of SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu and Manik Kumar of GCET, Jammu.
Merit Certificates shall be issued to participants holding four merit positions while Participation Certificates shall be issued to all the participants.
The event was organized by Dr. Jagmeet Kaur, Head of the Department of Commerce and Mohd Ashraf, Assistant Professor of Commerce under the supervision of Principal, Dr. Chander Shekhar Gupta, GGZSM Degree College, Reasi. |
