Jammu, Sept 21: A Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP), who is presently posted in Srinagar, has clandestinely hijacked a Whatsapp group and later removed all other admins and became sole admin of the group later he allegedly threatened and misbehaved with the members. Sources told Early Times the some youth of the Rajouri area had created a Whatsapp group with the name Ambedkar Yuva Manch in 2014, wherein people from all religions, castes, regions were participants but shockingly a Dy SP, who was also members of this group, somehow managed to become admin of the group and later removed the real creators of group. “There were around 25 admins in the group and this Dy SP removed all the admins and became the lone admin of the group illegally, which created strong resentment among the participants,” they alleged.
When participants of the group raised issue in the group, the Dy SP used abusive language and later a participant called the Dy SP to know the reason for removing the other admin, the cop misbehaved with him and used abusive language saying that there are FIRs, complaints against the one of the admin.
The main creator of the group, Sanam Raina, who also runs a NGO- Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Movement Youth Organisation and the Chairman of the NGO expressed anguish against the misuse of the power of cop. |
