Jammu, Oct 10: Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation conducted on extensive tour in the various parts of the Jammu City and kick started construction work of deep drains at Susheel Nagar & its adjoining areas (Gole Talab Tillo) of ward No: 32, Sat Pal Karlupia concerned Councillor, Lavkesh Gondi Distt Incharge I.T Cell BJP, Keshav Chopra Talab Tillo Mandal President, Upkar Singh, Satish Salaria, Arun Dubey, Rajesh Saini, Madam Reena Gupta, Madam Sunita Koul and other Prominent inhabitants of the ward were also present there. Arun Gupta Executive Engineer, B.K. Raina Junior Engineer of Engineering Division- II, Supervisory Staff of Health Section also accompanied the Mayor who told the gathering that this was the long pending demands of the locals which has now been fulfilled with the sincere efforts of Councilor Sat Pal Karlupia with an estimated cost of Rs. 17 Lakh only as the residents especially old persons & school going children were facing great hardships while passing through the area due to non existence of pacca drains. Mayor alongwith Madam Rekha Manhas Councilor of ward no: 62 also kick started the construction Work of deep drains at Raza Nagar (Chinore) of the said ward. Ashwani Kumar Executive Engineer, Deep Kumar Khajuria Assistant Executive Engineer, Rakesh Kumar Junior Engineer of Division – III, other field Staff of various sections of JMC as well as prominent inhabitants of the ward were also remained present there.
