GKPD constitutes various committees; appeals KPs to apply for Domicile

JAMMU, Oct 11: Global Kashmiri Pandit Diaspora (GKPD), a civil society movement of Kashmiri Pandits all around the globe, constitutes various committees; exhorts Kashmiri Pandits to apply for Domicile.
Continuing its mission of bringing all Kashmiri Pandits in exile on a single platform, the Global Kashmiri Pandit Diaspora has constituted nation-wide teams in Bharat for community outreach. The organization has unanimously welcomed the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha to enable additions to the definition of Domicile. The organization has appealed to the Kashmiri Pandit diaspora to apply for a domicile certificate in large numbers. They have lauded the efforts of the local government in organizing the Jan Abhiyan programme to provide service to the citizens at their doorstep. They have also demanded that ten seats in the local Assembly and two seats in the Parliament be reserved for the community.

Utpal Kaul, Moti Kaul, Yoginder Kaul, Hera Lal Bhat, Avtar Trakroo, Virinder Raina, Kamal Bagati, Siddarth Zarabi ji, Parikshit Kaul (also Media Coordinator) and Sanjay Kachru will be the members of national executive team while those who been assigned the role of coordinators include RK Bhat (North India), Aryan Ramesh (J&K), Kashi Akhoon (Delhi/NCR), Prof Ashwani Wangnoo (MP), Anju Razdan (Maharashtra), Nymphea Saraf (Gwalior), Dileep Kachroo (South India) and Sanjay Batarka (Coordinator Jaipur)
The Global GKPD Team comprises of Veer Khar International coordinator, Nirja K Sadhu International coordinator, Utpal Kaul India coordinator, Dr Rabinder Kaul US Coordinator, Dr Mohan Sapru Washington DC Coordinator, Jeevan Zutshi California coordinator, DK Bakshi Thailand Coordinator, Dr Shafalica Bhan Kotwal UK Coordinator, Suneel Kaul Coordinator New Zealand, Vidhya Bushan Dhar Coordinator Canada, Ajay Chowdri Coordinator Germany and Ash Raina Coordinator Australia.
