| NGEU strike entered day 30th | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 16: The token strike of three hours of NGEU entered 30 days today with protesting employees of all Trade of Class 4th Executive Body and Senior Employees who attended their office duties on roster Basis (50%) participate in Dharna protest and raising slogans, holding banners and wearing black bedgezs in favour of demands and against the University Authorities in the front of the Administration Block regarding their Long Pending Demands. The gathering was addressed by the President Vijay Kumar NGEU. The Demands of NGEU were lying pending due to insufficient knowledge to staffs working in Administration Block. The did not put the case /file well in time and delay the same. The NGEU urge the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar University of Jammu to look into our demands and issued order in this regard.
Vijay Kumar, President NGEU also warned the University Authority that if their demands not conceded within a short period of time, their token strike shall be converted into full day.
We humble request to the Lt. Governor, of Jammu and Kashmir, Union Territory to kindly take prompt action on above mentioned demands which or lying pending for long time and give justice to us, so that a congenial atmosphere be created in University Campus.
The Non Gazetted Employees Union, University of Jammu, Jammu has performed a small rally and approach the office of the Vice-Chancellor in Administration Block. The Rally dispersed peacefully at 2.00pm. |
