JAMMU, Nov 8: The bodies of a 30-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were found hanging with a tree at village Bal near river Chenab in Gurha Brahmana area of tehsil Akhnoor on the city outskirts, police said here on Sunday. According to Akhnoor Station House Officer Ravi Singh Parihar, the deceased were identified as Mangat Ram, resident of Nargali Ghari, Jammu and Saraswati, resident of Beerda in Katgoora Tehsil of Korbwa district, Chhattisgarh. After conducting formalities, the bodies were shifted to Sub-District Hospital at Akhnoor for post-mortem, said the SHO. ''The matter is being investigated,'' Parihar told UNI. However, sources said that the two were having an affair. |
