Jammu, Nov 13: KC Sports Club & Vishal Club registered the great win against their opponents in the league matches on going 8th Eid Diwali Milan Cricket Championship which is being organized by Senior Cricketers of J&K /Members of ICA in association with KC Sports Club and supported by Horizon Club, Game Changer Sports Club, Samar Sports Club, Vridhi Royals and JK Service Station Rajouri at KC Sports Club Cricket Ground Jammu.
The slogan of the 8th Eid Diwali Milan Cricket Championship is “ let’s celebrate all festivals together and Let’s strive for communal harmony and oneness”. The executive members of the organizing committee of the event includes Rajesh Gill, Shahid Parvez, Ashvinder Koul, Arjun Choudhary, Ashish Singh, Avinash Kumar, Sudhir Singh, Rakesh Koul, Saleem Ur Rehman, Madan Mohan and Sanjeev Sharma.
Today in the first match KC Sports Club defeated Shining Stars Doda by 48 runs .
Batting first KC Sports Club scored 172 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs match with Bandeep Singh 72 runs, Akash 29 runs and Acqib 23 runs. From the bowling side Anmol took 4 important wickets, Aman took 2 wickets while Adnan took 1 wicket for his team.
In reply Shining Stars Club Doda could not chased the target and managed to score 124 runs in 19.4 overs by losing all wickets. Nawaz scored 33 runs, Karan 32 runs and Pranav made 22 runs. From the bowling side Bandeep took 3 wickets, Sunil, Vivek took 2 wickets while Akash,Acqib,Vicky and Puneet took 1 wicket each.
Bandeep Singh was declared as man of the match.
In the second match Vishal Cricket Club defeated Game Changer Club by 8 wickets
Batting first Game Changer Club made 142 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 5 wickets with Yogesh Sikka 57 runs, Kartik 19 runs and Dikshant 16 runs were the main scorers. From the bowling Side Rakesh Koul took 2 wickets while Aqib, Rahul and Sarthak took 1 wicket each.
In reply Vishal Cricket Club chased the target in 18 overs by losing 2 wicket thus won the match by 8 wickets Sarthak scored 52 runs whereas Rohan Gill & Rakesh Koul were the other batsmen who scored 36 and 17 runs. From bowling side Munna and Gourav took 1 wicket each.The matches were officiated by Ashok Kumar, JD Singh, Vijay Dhar, Sabastian and Sanju.
Tomm. Fixture : Media Eleven Versus Shining Star Doda at 9.30 am and Sukhdev Cricket Academy Versus Samba Eleven at 1 pm informed by Rajesh Gill Coordinator of the event.
