Vridhi Club & Horizon Club registers win enters final

Jammu, Nov 19: Vridhi Cricket Club & Horizon Club registered the great win against their opponents in the league matches and entered in final in the going 8th Eid Diwali Milan Cricket Championship which is being organized by Senior Cricketers of J&K /Members of ICA in association with KC Sports Club and supported by Horizon Club, Game Changer Sports Club, Samar Sports Club, Vridhi Royals and JK Service Station Rajouri at KC Sports Club Cricket Ground Jammu.
The slogan of the 8th Eid Diwali Milan Cricket Championship is “ let’s celebrate all festivals together and Let’s strive for communal harmony and oneness”. The executive members of the organizing committee of the event includes Rajesh Gill, Shahid Parvez, Ashvinder Koul, Arjun Choudhary, Ashish Singh, Avinash Kumar, Sudhir Singh, Rakesh Koul, Saleem Ur Rehman, Madan Mohan and Sanjeev Sharma.
Today in the first Semi Match Vridhi Cricket Club defeated KC Sports Cricket Club by 4 wickets.
Batting first KC Sports Cricket Club scored 99 runs for the loss of all wickets in 17.3 overs match. Bandeep Singh 24, Puneet 19 and Sahil 14 were the main scorers. From the bowling side Gourav took 4 wickets, Archit took 2 wickets while Sachin,Snoop, Parth and Sannat took 1 wicket.
In reply Vridhi Royals chased the target in 17.3 overs by losing 6 wickets thus won the match by 4 wickets. Anshul scored 30 runs while Sanoop and Smarpit made 22 and 21 runs. From the bowling side Aqib took 3 wickets, while Aryan, Akash and Tanmay took 1 wicket each.
Gourav was declared as man of the match for his great bowling.
Horizon Club defeated Samar Cricket Club by 3 wkts. .
Batting first Samar Cricket Club made 117 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs game with Vishvajeet Singh 28 runs, Manjeet Chib 22 and Bhanu 17 runs. From the bowling side Ram, Vivek took 4 wickets, Sukha took 3 while Paras took 2 wickets each.
Horizon Cricket Club chased the target for the loss of 5 wickets in 13.4 overs . Jatin 25 runs, Akshit 20 runs and santbaksh 13 runs were the main scorers. From the bowling side Dhruv Mahajan, Manjeet, Dhruv Parmar ,Satish and Sameer took 1 wicket each.
Vivant was adjudged as man of the match.
The matches were officiated by Ashok Kumar, JD Singh, Vijay Dhar, Sabastian and Sanju.
The final match between Vridhi Cricket Eleven and Horizon Club will be played on 22nd of November,2020 at 12.30 pm and the Valediction function at 3.30 pm informed by Rajesh Gill Coordinator of the event.
