RAJOURI, Dec 5: Authorities giving charge of Agricultural Extension Officer (AEO) to a junior most officer as at Sunderbani in Rajouri district has created resentment.
Sources told Early Times that the post of AEO in the Agriculture Department in Sunderbani has been vacant for past a year and instead of appointing another AEO on the post, the department has given charge to a junior officer.
"This junior officer is said to be very close relative of a local leader, who managed his adjustment as AEO," they said. Besides, there are about 5-6 other posts of AEOs which are vacant in Sunderbani.
When contacted, Director Agriculture Jammu said that the vacant posts will be filled soon. |
