Despite Mehbooba’s campaign more raids conducted at Parra’s residence | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 30: Amid aggressive campaign launched by PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti to allow arrested Wahid-ur-Parra to take oath as elected member of the District Development Councils (DDCs), the sleuths of counter terror intelligence group conducted raids at the residence of Parra. Reliable sources said that raids were conducted at intelligence groups at Pulwama in connection with getting some details about bank transaction Hawala and Pakistan trade connection. “During interrogation Parra has revealed details of some bank transactions made by some traders who have linked with terror groups”, sources said and added that huge funds through Hawala money was sent to Kashmir Valley by some Pakistan based traders to fund some terror groups active in J&K. Reliable sources said that intelligence agencies have got vital proofs about involvement of some PDP leaders in terror funding in some parts of Kashmir Valley. “Intelligence agencies have convincing evidence against some PDP who were directly or indirectly involved in terror funding”, sources said. Meanwhile Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday again used social media to support her demand of allowing Parra to take oath as a member of the DDC. “NIA Court clearly directed @dcpulwama to administer oath to PDPs @parawahid. Yet the administration chose to brazenly violate this order. Won’t be an exaggeration to see it as mischief to deny Waheed his fundamental right. @ECISVEEP @KKSharmaJK”, Mehbooba tweeted. On Tuesday Mehbooba criticized the government over not allowing the Parra despite court directions. “Despite a clear order from court, @parawahid "wasn’t allowed to take oath as DDC member. Proof of how hostile & arrogant J&K admin has become. This amounts to contempt of court but they will get away with it. @dcpulwama@manojsinha_”, she tweeted. Parra was arrested by NIA over terror links with the DSP Devender Singh case in which one of the arrested persons had confessed that Waheed had sought the support of Hizbul Mujahideen terror outfit for Lok Sabha elections. |
