1/1/2021 11:09:32 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 1: The Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir unit today launched a signature campaign in the presence of its national organizer Gulab Chand Dubey, seeking the restoration of state status and the entitlement of local youth on government jobs in Jammu and Kashmir.
The party's national organizer Gulab Chand Dubey and State President Manish Sahni, with their signatures, flagged off the campaign at a function organized at Maharaja Hari Singh statue today.
Sahni said that a signature campaign has been launched to restore the state status and demand for the rights of local youth on jobs. A target of 10 lakh signatures has been set, which will be sent to Prime Minister Honorable Narendra Modi on 26 January. Sahni said that all the district units have been instructed to go to the colleges , universities including door to door and reach this campaign to the people. Sahni said that despite a long wait of 15 months, the government did not fulfill its promise of restoration of state status. Sahni said clearly that in any state the first right to jobs should be of the local youth.
Gulab Chand Dubey said in his address that injustice is being done to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Article 370 has become history, but even today, efforts are on to capitalize on 370 in its own way, ignoring the main issues like development, employment. The central government has not been able to fulfill any of its promises. The state's status was not restored even after a long gap and frustration among the youth is also increasing due to employment.
