| Jammu Police busts terror module in Reasi, arrests man with grenades, ammunition | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 1: Jammu Police have yet again unearthed another terror module by arresting a man with pistol and ammunition in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh here on Friday said that on the basis of reliable information, one person, Mohammad Yousaf,20, resident of Deval, Tehsil Mahore was apprehended by a team of police station Mahore in Reasi.
During sustained questioning and interrogation he disclosed that he had hidden some cache of arms and ammunition in a hideout at village lower Angrala of Sub Division Mahore of District Reasi.
"A joint search operation of Jammu Kashmir police and army was launched in the area and five live grenades, 9 mm pistol along with ammunition was recovered from a hideout," said the Jammu Zone Police Chief. He added that FIR has been registered under relevant sections of UAPA and IPC and further investigation into the case is initiated.
"This module is linked to the module arrested at Jammu from whom two grenades were recovered earlier," he said and added that with this module, a total of five different modules of LeT/ TRF have been unearthed in the past two weeks.
