DR Andrabi later held a meeting with the newly elected BJP members and asked them to work like public servants and devote their lives to the public welfare.
Dr Darakhshan also addressed public gathering at Bonigam which was attended by a huge population of the area. She was accorded a warm welcome by the locals. Here she inducted six DDC independent contestants of the district among whom four contestants ended up runner-ups in the recently held elections into BJP. I appeal to all the people to make the public representatives from Punch to a tall bureaucrat and a politician of any category accountable by raising voices as now voices of this kind will definitely be heard.”
Dr Darakhshan also visited the local dargah at Nawa Gundipora and inspected the arrangements and the management of the shrine. She met many senior citizens at the shrine.
