GDC Akhnoor organizes message-writing contest

JAMMU, Jan 8: Department of English, Government Degree College Akhnoor organized a message writing and greeting card making contest titled "Season of Hope," under the dynamic supervision and guidance of the principal Namarta. The event was organized with the purpose of spreading the message of hope, joy, peace, good health and positivity among the students during the pandemic and wishing for a better future at the turn of the year. The event not only promoted and showcased the talent of the college students but also came as a reprieve in the gloom and isolation created by the present conditions of corona pandemic, by focusing on human goodwill and the desire of happiness and health for all. With the advent of 2021, students of the college made greeting cards and craft items spreading the message of good wishes and hope for humanity in the New Year. The students came up with wonderful, inspirational and exceptional messages. Many students participated in the contest out of which Jasreen Kour, Balbir Kumar, Raksha Mehra, Sheetal Devi, Mansha Rani and Shallu Verma secured the top positions.
