Jammu, Jan 8: To aware the masses and promote traditional culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan mounts one week special campaign on drug abuse in close coordination with Directorate of Social welfare department Jammu & Kashmir Govt, and Sangam Tru Art Production and presented 43th Friday Dogri Musical Concert “ Nasha Kola Bacho” during Quarantine Time on the theme of “Drug Abuse” at Rehersal Hall , Durga Bhawan Janipur, Jammu. To educate the effective measures to protect the masses especially the vulnerable population i.e. adolescents from getting exploited by the menace of Drug addiction and enable them to adopt safe and rational use of drugs by way of generating awareness through effective information and communication technologies. The Program was inaugurated by the chief guest V.K.Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. The day commemorated with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional , Primitive Folk, Art, Culture of J&K Region in particular and Indian nation in general awareness items. The specially items prepared on the theme “Nasha Nai Kario Munde Kureio” , “ Bacho Bacho Tobacoo Kola Bacho”, “Nai Pee Shraban”, “Bari Kharab Chutki” , “Nahin Piya Tobacco Balma” , Nukkad, Skits ,Songs and Dances were presented to aware the masses. The Chief Guest, laid stress on the dangers of drug use and its illegal trade by providing educational material to teachers and public all over the world to help the spreads the message & its effect on cultural and economically |
