Subash Chander Bose: A true inspiring figure
Shyam Sudan1/21/2021 11:02:17 PM
Many patriotic figures have played their unique role in the movement of our freedom struggle. Due to the sacrifices of these sons of soil, today we are living in a free and sovereign state. we can't compare the role and contribution of these great patriotic personalities and can't underestimate the contribution of one over other. It was due to everyone's tireless efforts of all that we got the chance of freedom.
One of these personalities was that who not only sacrificed his precious life but also created a revolution and feeling of patriotism among others. He was the founder of Azaad hind fouj, subash babu. He is popularly known as Netaji. NO doubt he was the real leader of masses who had the magical and charismatic power to influence and motivate others. One of his revolutionary clarion call 'You give me blood, I shall give you freedom 'set fire of patriotism among youths.
Thousands of young people came farward to lay down and sacrifice their live for this proposal. Subash chander Bose was also a charismatic orator. His art and charisma of speech was that the listener could not escape from being influenced from it. He was born on 23rd January, 1897 at cuttack, orissa.
He also studied at university of Cambridge. Even he had qualified the prestigious exams of ics in fourth rank. He had also joined the non cooperation movement led by Gandhiji.Subash chander was a real epitome of patriotism and nationalism. Every year on 23rd of January we celebrate his birthday.
This year we are going to celebrate his 125th birth anniversary. Govt has decided to celebrate this day as prakaram divas to give honour and tribute to this great gem of our country. There is no doubt that he was great freedom fighter and a brave soldier of our country. Number of cultural activities and events will be organised all the year to give commemoration to this great personality. Lot of online lectures and webinar will be organised to reflect the teaching and philosophy of this great hero.
As per his vision he believed that freedom is not given, it is taken. Further he believed in the philosophy that no real change in history can be achieved by discussions. The thoughts of Swamivivekananda and Aurobindo Ghosh had great influence in the heart and minds of subash chander Bose. He considered them as his role model. While subash chander Bose was in prison, Gandhiji compromised with the British government and got all the prisoners released. But the government refused to release the revolutionaries like Sardar Bhagat Singh. Subash Chander Bose was very angry and upset with Gandhi ji about this. He was feeling very humiliated and helpless for not saving bhagat singh life.
Subash chander Bose also went to jail for twelve times due to his revolutionary activities and other reasons. It is said that subash chander Bose travelled the whole world. Netaji also met with Hitler. Netaji body was not found till date. Therefore, his death also remains a mystery for all. It is said that Netaji died in an airplane crash at Taiwan in 1945, which is still a doubtful tragedy for everyone. Netaji Azaad Hind Army consisted of about eighty five thousands soldiers at that time.
They also had a women's wing. Earlier this army consisted of those who were taken captive on behalf of Japan.later,Indian volunteers from Burma were also included in this army. Azaad Hind Army had decided that tricolor would be our national flag. But ,it is the irony of our country that till today we could not give due respect to this great patriot. We were also hesitant to give bharat Ratan to this great personality.we must not forget the role of such great hero's who made their supreme sacrifice in the battle of freedom against Britshers. They were our inspiring figure at that crucial hour of crisis and slavery. These people came at a time when people were suffering from oppression and oppressive policies of the British government. These people aroused enthusiasm among common man and ignited the flame of revolution in their hearts. It is needed that we must tell the real heroic epics of such great personalities to our young generation without any distorted history.Subash chander Bose was not merely a devoted soldier of our freedom movement but a figure of inspiration and bravery for our generation.
It is need of the hour that we make the new generations fully aware of the lives of such great heros.perhaps this will be a true tribute to such great men.We have also been told in the history that the thoughts of the people like Subash chander Bose, Sardar bhagat singh, Chander shekhar Azaad and many more was generally based on promoting violent movement. But it is not true ,basically these people were not in favour of exploitation policies of British government and their dubious attitude and discrimination tactics. The truth is that due to the strict attitude of these people, British government was forced to leave india.Apart from a true patriot and freedom fighting virtues ,subash chander Bose was also popularly known for his diplomacy and intellectual qualities. He had firm faith in the philosophy of Bhagwad Gita.He always took it as a source of inspiration for solving various problems of his life.we are highly indebted to such a great personality, who spent his entire life for the welfare of people and their freedom.Such people are born once in centuries.
Let us all make that great figure memorable on his 125th birth day and give respect to his resolve and work.Come together and repeat his slogan' jai hind'
