KATHUA, Feb 14: Inter-District State Level Competition in the discipline of Kabaddi under the age group U/17 years boys concluded today at Shivalik Resorts Ground Dayalachack. The event was organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Office Kathua with the direction of Director General Youth Services and Sports J&K, UT Dr Saleem-Ur-Rehman.
The last day’s competition Started with the best wishes of DYSSO Kathua Sunil Kumar (Chairman) along with Nasib Chand, PEM, DYSS Office Kathua (Organizer Secretary), Joginder Kumar, PEM, DYSSO Kathua (Assistant Organizer Secretary), Mohan Lal Dub, PEM, DYSSO Kathua(Assistant Organizer Secretary), Yog Raj ZPEO Hiranager, Sukesh Kumar ZPEO Mallahar, Hargopal Sharma, DYSS Office Kathua, Sr. PEM Dharminder Singh Shally and Field Staff In the first semi-final between District Jammu and District Udhampur, the District Udhampur won by 9 points while in the 2nd District Kathua defeated District Baramulla by 11 points. In the final, District Udhampur trounced District Kathua by 35 points. District Jammu clinched third place by defeating Baramulla by 33 points.
