2/14/2021 11:23:23 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

AKHNOOR, Feb14: Shri Madan Lal Memorial Trust today organized a remembrance meeting for late Madan Lal Sharma, former Member Parliament and veteran Congress leader who passed away around two months ago.
A number of senior Congress leaders spoke in the function organised at Khour, which was also attended by thousands of people, and paid tributes to late Madan Lal Sharma.
The attendance observed two minutes silence to pray for eternal peace to the departed soul, before the senior leaders remembered the former MP.
Madan Lal’s son and Trustee of Shri Madan Lal Memorial Trust, Satish Sharma paid floral tributes to his father and remembered his contributions for the public at large.
“My father always kept the service of people before anything, be it his family or health. We have seen how he would stay out of home for days in row or would not sleep, when it comes to his people, whom he regarded as the most important for him,” said Satish Sharma, with teary eyes.
