Yog shiver inaugurated

Jammu, Feb 14: Sharatiya Yog Sansthan Jammu organized a function to inaugurate the 10 days" Karikarta Nirman Shiver". The Shiver is attended by around 150 Volunteers of Bharatiya Yog Sansthan. Prof. Manoj K Dhar, Vice Chancellor Jammu University was the Chief Guest of the function. The function started with Sarswati Vandhana and Deep Prajwalan.
This was followed by Samohik Yog Sadhana by the participants. Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest said that Yog is the cultural heritage of this Nation and it needs to be popularized and practiced through out the length and breadth of the country. He thanked Bharatiya Yog Sansthan for promoting Yoga in the country for over 50 years .He said that Jammu University has recently added Yoga in the syllabus B Ed courses which in the long run shall enable the society to adopt yoga as a way of life.
Earlier speaking on the occasion Sh Satya Pal Sharma President Bharatiya Yog Sansthan introduced the Sansthan to the Chief Guest. He said that Sansthan has been rendering services to the society free of cost from last 54 years through over 4000 yog Kendras operating in 25 States of the country and in 10 foreign countries. He thanked the Chief Guest for spending his valuable time by visiting the Ashram today. He assured him of all out support that may be required by the University related to Yoga.
