RAJOURI, Feb 15: Khadi and Village Industries Board today organized Seven day long State Level Exhibition under National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Hub (NSSH) Scheme, here at ITI Ground.
The Exhibition was inaugurated by Secretary J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board in Presence of District Officers of J&K KVIB and other line Departments.
The Secretary J&K KVIB said that the Exhibition is being organized under National scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe Hub (NSSH) Scheme as marketing support to the SC/ST MSMEs. He said That NSSH is an Initiative of the Central Government to create an entrepreneurial Ecosystem for the SC ST MSMEs.
J&K KVIB has been nominated as Nodal Agency for the Implementation of this Scheme in the UT of J&K, he informed.
On the occasion, more than twenty five stalls displaying different items were set up by the SC ST MSMEs , which includes Honey, Readymade Garments, Carry Bags, Food based products and track suits, furniture, black smithy etc. Moreover, Departments like Animal husbandry, Sheep Husbandry , Handicrafts , Handlooms , Agriculture Sericulture, ITI and Banks have also set up their stalls in the Exhibition displaying their different employment Schemes.
The Secretary urged all the stakeholders and public of the Rajouri to visit the Exhibition and encourage the SC ST MSMEs by purchase their products. |
