UT level inter-District Volley Ball tournament U-17 girls concludes at Doda

DODA, Feb 17: The UT Level inter-District Volley Ball Tournament for U-17 girls concluded today here at Boys Higher Secondary School Doda. The tournament was organised under the patronage of Director General Youth Services & Sports J&K Dr. Saleem-ul-Rehman and District Development Commissioner Doda Dr. Sagar D Diofide, under the overall supervision of District Youth Services & Sports Officer Doda, Jaffar Hussain Sheikh.
District Information Officer, Mohammad Ashraf Wani, was the chief guest, while Captain Mohammad Navid 10RR was the guest of honour at the concluding function. District Youth Services and Sports Office, Jaffar Haider Sheikh, ZPEO Bhalla, Pritam Singh and I/C ZPEO Doda Kishori Lal were also present on the ocassion. The final match was won by District Rajouri by defeating District Samba by 3.1 Sets. Later, the Chief guest along with Guest of Honour and the DYSSO presented trophies and Certificates to the winner and runner-up teams.
The event was also attended by Javed Ahmed, Amit Sharma, Raj Bushan, Ashok Kumar, Vikram Singh, Ifroz Hussain, Tariq Malik, all Lectures and PEMs of sports Department. The match was officiated by Ifroz Hussain PET, Archana PET, Pawan Kumar PET, Neeraj Kumar PET, Anjum Riaz PET, Shahid Bashir PEL, Javed Malik PEL, Veena REK and Naveed-ul-Rehman REK.
