| National Level Online Multilingual Kavita - Goshti held | | | Early Times Report
VIJAYPUR, Feb 18: GDC Vijaypur organized National Level Online Multilingual Kavita - Goshti" under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Talat Parvez Rohella, Commissioner/Secretary, Higher Education Department, UT of J & K. The aim of the competition was to spark off the creative energy of the students by providing them a platform to showcase their power of imagination and to develop their love for poetry reading and writing. Students from various Colleges and Universities of the country participated in the competition. The first position was secured by Sanjay Kumar, GDC Thathri. The second position was shared by Pooja and Rajani of GDC Vijaypur whereas third position was shared by Mohit, Nikita and Raghunandan of GDC Vijaypur. Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, Principal of the Institute congratulated the participants and the organizers for making the event a grand success. She further added that such competitions have tremendous appeal for students as languages shape the cultural life of nation and lay the foundation for its progress. Language is the vital unseen thread that links the past with the present. She emphasized the importance of protecting and conserving our unique and rich linguistic heritage as language should become a catalyst for inclusive development and growth. Sonia Bhagat, H.O.D. Department of Hindi coordinated the event. The organizing committee comprised of Dr. Ruchi, Dr. Shittal Sharma and Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal. E-certificates were awarded to the winners. |
