Jammu, Feb 20: A Rally was held here Kali Jani to Purani Mandi Ward No.4 Jammu under the leadership of Rahul Tandon district president PYC Jammu Urban.
Addressing the media he said that" The Modi led Government has considered J&K a laboratory to test its different political tactics and now by imposing series of taxes like toll plazas at different places of Jammu like Sarore, Ban Plaza, Aknoor Road, Ramban,Water Tax, huge electricity tax and now property tax is a big atrocity on the peoples of Jammu and Kashmir who already used to face problems due to different moods of nature, unrest due to terrorism, slump in business after abrogation of Article 370 and also during Covid-19 pandemic.
Tandon lashed out on BJP Government for anti peoples decision against various hardships faced by peoples including economic crises for the last one year, and Modi led Government is not leaving any stone unturned to squeeze the residents of J&K.
He blamed the BJP Government for its total failure to address the genuine problems and concerns of the peoples.
He urged Modi led BJP Government to roll back the property tax from J&K as it would cause an over burden on the peoples of J&K as they will be declared tenants in their own Homes.
Divyansh Singh and Brinder Pratap state secretary and residents of ward no. 4 ladies and youth also joined the rally. |
