Unauthorised absent: salary of two Animal Husbandry officials withheld

Rajouri, Feb 25: Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Rajouri today withheld salary of two officials for their unauthorised absence. The action taken by the department on the basis of the issue highlighted by the media this morning. Mohd Azam Sarpanch Gurdan Bala informed Early Times that the sub centre of Animal Husbandry Gurdan Bala established in a rented house in village was in shambles for years, and both officials deployed their visit to the centre occasionally.
“Today, some media persons visited the village and found the centre closed, they took up the matter with Deputy Commissioner Rajouri and Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Rajouri Dr Fazal Hussain Soze”, the Sarpanch said, adding that the medicines and other equipment were lying on open in very unhygienic condition. “We appeal the DC Rajouri, Rajesh Kumar Shavan streamline villages services like many reforms he has initiated since the day he joined ‘’, he added.
Meanwhile Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Rajouri has sought explanation of Khaliq Hussain and Mohd Nasir both officials were absent from duty. “It has come into my notice that you both officials found absent from duties on 25-02-221.Further the veterinary centre under their jurisdiction found dirty and filled with filth and dust. Both the officials hereby directed to explain their position to this office before any disciplinary action is taken against you. Moreover salary for the month of February-2021 will be kept withheld till you explain your position in this regard”, copy of explanation called by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Rajouri read.
