Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 2: National Students' Union of India (NSUI) National President, Neeraj Kundan launched a nationwide NSUI campaign "Naukri Do, Ya Degree Vapis Lo" here today at Press Club Jammu.
While addressing media, Neeraj Kundan said that Jammu and Kashmir has second highest unemployment rate with 14.2%. He further added that students here are in despair. The situation is worsening and students are depressed because it is shocking to see that the BJP govt is in centre as well as in the Union territory still there are no discussions about the issue of unemployment. It is sad to see that the BJP govt has never even considered unemployment as a worthy issue to discuss. The student population here is done with the existing Govt's fake promises like promising 50,000 jobs etc.
Neeraj also added that 70% of the youth is unemployed in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that about 90,000 government jobs are vacant but there are no recruitments for these vacant posts.
The main mint and motive of launching this campaign in J&K is to remind the BJP govt that the students of J&K are well equipped and educated with their degrees and now it's time for them to address the issue of unemployment and provide proper opportunities to them. While launching the campaign, Neeraj Kundan also issued a toll free number +91 7290800850 in context with the unemployed youth. He said that all unemployed youngsters can give a miss call to register themselves with the movement of NSUI.
On the occasion, State President of NSUI Sunny Parihar also welcomed the National president Neeraj Kundan is his native State and assured that he will take this campaign to the grass rout level.
The campaign was graced by the presence of other leaders too. Some of them were: Vikas Bhadoria, Ajay Lakhotra, National Coordinator, NSUI RTI Cell, Manik Sharma, Sourav Verma, Rahul, President GDC RS Pura and several others.
