| GDC Thannamandi inagurates Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsava | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 2: Government Degree College Thannamandi inaugurates “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsava” 75 weeks programme to commemorate 75th years of Independence on 15 August 2022 with an extension lecture on India’s rich culture and heritage today.
The event was organized under the patronship of Prof. (Dr.) Javaid Ahmed Qazi Principal of the college and coordinated by Prof. Raheela Mushtaq, convener cultural and literary committee GDC Thannamandi.
The extension lecture was delivered by Prof. Qamar Rabbani Department of History Govt. P.G. College Rajouri. The lecture was very informative; the resource person fully explained to the students the origin and establishment of various cultures and traditions in the country. He also emphasized on the students to maintain the integrity of the various religions and cultures.
Students also interacted with the resource person. Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Javaid Ahmed Qazi congratulated the cultural and literary committee and stressed upon the students to participate in the upcoming events. The formal vote of thanks was presented by Tejinder Singh.
